Who is this PGD for?

This product is for individual use by one named pharmacist or registered pharmacy technician planning to provide salbutamol under the relevant asthma PGD. You must meet the professional eligibility, training, competency and authorisation requirements of the relevant PGD before delivering the service.

The PGD sets out the circumstances in which supply is permitted. It does not replace the assessment, referral or monitoring requirements specified in the document.

The PGD covers the conditions under which the medicine or vaccine may be supplied or administered. Purchase of this product does not remove the requirement to assess each patient and comply with the PGD.

Online training and PGD access

Use the PGDPro learning platform to complete the online training and assessment required for your selected services. You must complete and pass the relevant modules before access to the associated PGD is granted. These modules supplement any mandatory training requirements for delivering the service.

Licence and pricing

The PGD licence runs for 12 months from purchase. Use of each PGD remains subject to its validity, successful completion of the required training and assessment, and individual authorisation.
