Understanding our services
PGDPro is provided by Medical Prescription Services Ltd (MPS). It is a specialist provider of Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and associated training packages, designed to help pharmacies safely and legally offer a wide range of clinical services.
PGDPro provides cost-effective, clinically robust PGDs alongside the training and support required to implement them.
About MPS and PGDProPGDPro is designed for community pharmacies, pharmacy chains, and healthcare providers looking to expand their clinical services, including vaccinations and treatment services.
A PGD is a legally authorised framework that allows qualified healthcare professionals, such as pharmacists, to supply or administer specified medicines to predefined groups of patients without the need for an individual prescription.
Read the PGD service requirementsPGDPro is provided by Medical Prescription Services Ltd. It enables pharmacy professionals to purchase PGDs and access their associated online training and supporting documents. The service-specific online training must be completed and passed before access to the relevant PGD is granted.
Xiniyo and App&Tap are separate third-party platforms supporting electronic screening and patient management around PGD services. Patient-facing activities are managed by the relevant pharmacy and partner provider.
Your PGDPro learning account is separate from these partner platforms. Refer to your chosen partner for its functionality, pricing and access arrangements.
