This product provides a PGD for seasonal influenza vaccination without an accompanying training package. It is intended for pharmacy professionals who already meet the training and competency requirements of the relevant PGD.

Who is this PGD for?

This is an individual-use option for a named pharmacy professional who requires the influenza PGD rather than a package containing online training.

You must meet the professional eligibility, training, competency and authorisation requirements specified in the PGD before delivering the service.

What is included?

• A PGD for seasonal influenza vaccination.
• No online training is included with this product.

Check the current PGD for the applicable vaccines, patient eligibility, exclusions and vaccination requirements.

Training requirements

Purchasing this PGD does not replace the training or competency requirements for delivering an influenza vaccination service. You must ensure your training is current and meets the requirements of the PGD.

Pharmacists should refresh their influenza training annually, usually ahead of the flu season.

MPS does not provide or arrange practical or face-to-face vaccination training. Where additional practical training or supervised practice is required, you must arrange this separately.

Licence and pricing

The licence runs for 12 months from purchase. Use of the PGD remains subject to its validity, the required training and competency, and individual authorisation.
