The Flu & COVID-19 PGD Package combines PGDs for seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccination, with supporting online influenza, COVID-19, vaccination, basic life support and anaphylaxis training.

Who is this package for?

This package provides access for one named pharmacist or registered pharmacy technician. It is designed for an individual pharmacy professional planning to provide both seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccination services.

You must meet the eligibility, training, competency and authorisation requirements of each relevant PGD before delivering that service.

Services covered

• Seasonal influenza vaccination.
• COVID-19 vaccination covering Spikevax and Comirnaty.

Check each PGD for the applicable vaccine, patient eligibility, exclusions and authorisation requirements. Pharmacists should refresh their influenza training annually, usually ahead of the flu season.

Online training and PGD access

Use the PGDPro learning platform to complete the online training and assessment required for your selected services. You must complete and pass the relevant modules before access to the associated PGD is granted. These modules supplement any mandatory training requirements for delivering the service.

MPS does not provide or arrange practical or face-to-face vaccination training. Where additional practical training or supervised practice is required, you must arrange this separately.

Your learning-platform username and password will be issued upon purchase. Follow our PGD access guide to complete your training and find your documents.

Licence and pricing

The package licence runs for 12 months from purchase. Use of each PGD remains subject to its validity, successful completion of the required training and assessment, and individual authorisation.

Prices are exclusive of VAT. Your basket and checkout show the applicable VAT and total payable before payment.
